The Graduate Certificate Programme in Entrepreneurship (GCPE) is a part of the Centre for Family Business & Entrepreneurship (CFBE) - one of SPJIMR’s four Centres of Practice. The Centre has played a pioneering role in fostering and nurturing entrepreneurship among family businesses and start-ups.

Designed especially for those with an entrepreneurial streak, the GCPE programme is a course aimed at fostering entrepreneurship that makes a difference amongst youth. This programme is specifically tailored and curated to help young, aspiring student entrepreneurs to get a head start in India’s booming start-up ecosystem.

The GCPE programme seeks to act as the catalyst in the transformation of youth through creating and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset among them.

The programme offers an opportunity for Profile Building and helps differentiate participant’s CV for better career prospects, including higher education. GCPE helps cultivate a wide range of essential skills for success in both entrepreneurial endeavours, academic & professional pursuits.

Hybrid Mode : Conducted over two months during weekends on select Friday , Saturday and Sundays without disturbing the undergraduate academic schedule.
A curated “language of entrepreneurship” put together by experts in the entrepreneurship space.
Led by practitioner faculty with hands-on experience at entrepreneurship.
Curriculum and pedagogy designed to foster and nurture entrepreneurial intent and a business creation mindset.
Interact with a team of entrepreneurially-oriented “You”s.
Deliver at the end of 2 months: “The Most Terrific Business Idea” to solve “The Wickedest Problems that India faces”.
Mentoring hours for the Final Presentation.
A SPark Tank to evaluate the in-house ‘sparks’ on the business ideas.

Q1. Who is this programme designed for?

This programme is open to Undergraduate students/fresh graduates/students appearing for final year exams awaiting results, belonging to all educational streams. This programme is a course to foster entrepreneurship that makes a difference amongst youth.

Q2. What are the eligibility criteria for this programme?

Any undergraduate (from any stream)/ fresh graduate enrolled in educational institutions of repute, with an entrepreneurial streak and is comfortable with English language.

Q3. How is the programme being conducted?

The programme is conducted over two months during weekends on Friday evenings, Saturday evenings and Sundays

Session recordings would be available for a limited time, on a case by case basis, post internal approvals.

Post the programme, you will have an opportunity to build networks with like minded individuals and the community of entrepreneurs associated with SPJIMR. You can look forward to upskilling opportunities to start your own business. You also have the Opportunity to differentiate your CV for better career prospects including higher education.

Q8. What is the last date for application?

We accept applications on a continuous basis; hence there are no last days for applying for the GCPE programme. We however, advise you to apply at the earliest considering the limited seats available for the programme.
