S P Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), a top ranked B School through various programmes has nurtured and fostered entrepreneurship amongst family businesses and startup eco-system through one of the four Centre for Excellence of SPJIMR, Centre for Family Business & Entrepreneurship (CFBE). The CFBE offers the Start Your Business Programme (SYB) for aspiring entrepreneurs or early stage startup founders who are keen to start their own business.
The SYB programme provides knowledge, skills and attitude required for creating a sustainable venture in a structured manner through experiential learning. SYB, is in its 15th year, has supported aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage start-up across the country. The SYB programme has witnessed participants from educational backgrounds, skills sets, professional experiences but with one common vision to start their own business. The average age profile of the participants is 20 years - 40 years + with educational background from degree to post graduate, doctorate, engineers, lawyers, commerce background, doctors etc. and from various parts of the country.
